In this presentation, you’ll learn how to build an app using the open-source Hilla framework. The app uses a Spring Boot backend and connects type-safely to a Lit-frontend.
The presentation will give you the basic skills needed to go and build your own app.
Bio
Manolo is a fanatic of open source, and loves working in a company that delivers free software. He has contributed to projects such as Vaadin, Jenkins, Apache James, and GWT.
At Vaadin, he has the position of 'Release Lead' in the in the R&D team. For more than 8 years in the Company he has had an important role in the development of the Vaadin Web Components, and Flow and Hilla frameworks.
When he doesn't have his hands on his laptop shredding code, he likes to speak at conferences relling of all the details of the products he contributes with.
In his spare time he travels and plays with his music band.
